4 years agoCincinnati Reds infielder Jonathan India has turned heads in Cactus League action this spring. The former No. 5 overall selection by the Reds in 2018 has hit the ball well, batting .348 with one homer, five runs, three RBI, and a steal in 23 at-bats. Cincinnati is toying with the idea of moving Eugenio Suarez to shortstop and Mike Moustakas to third base, which would open up regular playing time at second base. India is one of the leading candidates to seize those at-bats if he can finish the spring on a strong note. India is enjoying his opportunity to shine, telling reporters, "I try not to put pressure on myself, ever, in this game. If you put pressure on yourself, it's not going to end well for you in baseball." India is worth monitoring in deep leagues and dynasty formats in case he makes the roster and gets off to a fast start in the regular season.--Matt T - RotoBaller
