Jonathan India Ready To Go Against Nationals
2 years agoCincinnati Reds second baseman Jonathan India (leg) is starting at second base and is hitting second against the Washington Nationals and right-hander Cade Cavalli on Friday. India left the game early on Wednesday with more soreness in his lower left leg and he missed Thursday's game, but he's back a day later to begin the weekend series against Washington. Last year's National League Rookie of the Year has found it much tougher sledding in his second MLB campaign, although injuries haven't helped his cause. The 25-year-old has remained cold in August and is hitting .245/.310/.397 overall with eight home runs, 27 RBI, 32 runs scored and two stolen bases in 281 plate appearances and 67 games.
