4 years agoNew York Yankees relief pitcher Jonathan Loaisiga has been working on a slider this spring and has developed a more reliable changeup, according to manager Aaron Boone. Loaisiga has had mixed results since making his MLB debut in 2018, but his changeup has always been able to generate whiffs at an impressive clip and he boasts a fastball that touches triple digits, so his arsenal tinkering should intrigue fantasy managers. Likely to pitch in an early long-relief role for the Yankees this season, Loaisiga should be in a position to pick up a sneaky number of strikeouts and wins, and he should be on the radar of fantasy managers in deeper leagues as a result.--Sam Chinitz
