5 years agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Jonathan Lucroy was activated from the injured list on Wednesday and will catch and bat eighth against the Detroit Tigers. Lucroy was hurt in the collision with Jake Marisnick back on July 8 and missed the roughly three weeks that was expected. Unfortunately Lucroy has not produced much this season, just a .237/.307/.364 slash line with seven home runs in 73 games. He's worth a spot in two-catcher and AL-only leagues but not really anywhere else.--Nathaniel Green
