6 years agoUpdating a previous report on the signing, free-agent catcher Jonathan Lucroy's contract with the Oakland Athletics is for $6.5 million for one year, according to Susan Slusser of the San Francisco Chronicle. There does not seem to be any incentives at all in that deal. At 31 years old, Lucroy is hoping for a more successful year than recent years so that he can cash in on one last paycheck after the season. The Oakland Coliseum is not the preferable location for an offensive resurgence. Keep an eye on him, as he might offer value at a very poor position in fantasy.--Ellis Canady - RotoBaller
