6 years agoLos Angeles Angels catcher Jonathan Lucroy went 2-for-3 with one walk and one RBI in the Angels 5-4 loss to the Rangers. Lucroy has at least one hit in six of his last eight games played and is hitting .360 during that span. The veteran has only one extra-base hit this season but his presence in the lineup has been a positive for the Angels. Lucroy no longer appears to have the power that allowed him to hit 24 home runs in 2016 but can be a solid performer who excels at handling a pitching staff. Finding a catcher in fantasy can be a dicey proposition and Lucroy can help certain rosters in deeper formats moving forward.--Joey C - RotoBaller
