Jonathan Schoop Continues To Struggle At The Plate
6 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jonathan Schoop went 0-for-4 with two strikeouts in his team's 2-1 loss to the Philadelphia Phillies on Sunday. Schoop is off to a slow start at the plate with his new team, hitting just .217 with three runs and one RBI. The hard-hitting second baseman isn't seeing the ball well at this time, but it would be wise to remain patient with one of the better power-hitting second basemen in fantasy. Try to keep Schoop rostered at the moment, even if you have to bench him and add another second baseman who is swinging a hot bat. Perhaps some interleague action against the New York Mets on Tuesday will jump start Schoop's bat.
