6 years agoBaltimore Orioles second baseman Jonathan Schoop went 1-for-4 with a solo home run and two RBI in Monday's 5-3 loss to the Mariners. Schoop launched an arching bomb into the left field seats in the fifth inning off of Felix Hernandez. The 26-year-old is now hitting just .205 with eight HRs and 21 RBI in 250 plate appearances this season. He has been disappointing for fantasy owners so far and can afford to be dropped in shallower leagues, but he should be held onto in deeper leagues and dynasty leagues based on the success he has shown in previous seasons.--Connelly Doan - RotoBaller
