Jonathan Schoop Returns To The Lineup On Monday
3 years agoDetroit Tigers' second baseman Jonathan Schoop (hand) is back in the lineup on Monday against Brad Keller and the Kansas City Royals. The 29-year-old sat out of Sunday's game vs. the White sox with left-hand soreness after being hit by a pitch in Saturday's loss. He's batting third as Detroit's designated hitter on Monday. Schoop has picked up his game over the last month and is slashing a solid .262/.317/.437 with 10 homers, 29 RBI, and 24 runs scored across 229 at-bats this season. He's a valuable streaming option in deeper leagues with his multi-position eligibility (1B/2B).
