2 years agoIndianapolis Colts running backs Jonathan Taylor and Nyheim Hines will be held out of Saturday's preseason finale against Tampa Bay as the team attempts to rest its lead backs ahead of the regular season. Taylor, the presumptive No. 1 overall pick in many fantasy leagues, emerged as a superstar in 2021 after leading the NFL in carries (332), rushing yards (1,811) and touchdowns from scrimmage (20). Hines has served primarily as the team's change-of-pace back, but with Taylor likely to face something of a stunted workload in '22 in an attempt to keep him fresh all year, the 25-year-old holds FLEX appeal in deep leagues in his own right. Without Taylor or Hines available vs. the Bucs, Phillip Lindsay and Ty'Son Williams -- among others -- figure to lead the Indy backfield. Taylor can be considered a full-go for the team's regular-season opener Sept. 11 against Houston.--Jesse Borek
