Jonathan Taylor Tallies Fourth Consecutive 100-Yard Game
3 years agoIndianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor rushed 20 times for 108 yards and a touchdown during a 23-20 Week 17 loss against the Las Vegas Raiders. The second-year running back remains a legitimate MVP candidate, tallying four consecutive games with over 100 rushing yards. Taylor added a six-yard reception against the Raiders and converted a goal-line carry to give the Colts the lead right before halftime. However, it took a while for Taylor to establish himself against a vulnerable Raiders run defense, which allowed the team to hang around and mount a late fourth-quarter come back for their third straight win. Expect Jonathan Taylor to extend his 100-yard rushing streak and potentially reach close to 2,000 rushing yards against a bad Jaguars run defense in Week 18. The Colts need to ensure a win, which means their game plan will be funneled through Taylor all game long.
