3 years agoNew York Mets infielder Jonathan Villar (calf) has been activated from the 10-day injured list on Sunday. As expected, Villar will be ready to play in time for the second game of Sunday's doubleheader. This season, Villar is hitting .246/.333/.410 with six homers and eight stolen bases through 183 at-bats. Obviously not a great stat line, but could help fantasy managers in deep or mixed leagues. In a corresponding move, outfielder Albert Almora has been optioned to the minors. He has been horrendous during his time in the MLB this season, so a move to the minors make sense.
