6 years agoMilwaukee Brewers infielder Jonathan Villar went 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI in the 8-3 win over the Minnesota Twins. Villar in his last four games is hitting at an absurd 8-for-16 rate with two doubles, one home run, three RBI and five runs during those four games. In his last seven, he's been equally as good hitting for a .409 batting average. While Villar still lacks the ability to draw walks with only seven in 122 at-bats, his ability to put the ball in play is proving him to be a solid contact hitter. Villar's limit was the sky last year and failed to meet expectations, however, this is the season that Villar owners were expecting out of him last year. Villar will have to cut down the errors though, as he got his fifth error already on the year with one in the game against the Twins. He should start to be considered for an add in shallower formats as he's looking to run away with the second base position.--Caden Inaba
