Jonathan Villar Hits For Cycle Monday
5 years agoBaltimore Orioles second baseman/shortstop Jonathan Villar had a landmark game in Monday's 9-6 loss to the Yankees, hitting for the cycle in just the fifth time in O's history. Villar was left with just a single to go in his last at-bat but was facing Aroldis Chapman and was able to go the other way with the pitch into right field to complete the feat. His final line was 4-for-5 with two RBI and a strikeout. The 27-year-old now owns a .267/.331/.437 slash line with 15 home runs, 51 RBI, and 24 stolen bases. His multi-skill toolbox makes him a must-start in most fantasy leagues.
