3 years agoNew York Mets infielder Jonathan Villar (hamstring) is not in the starting lineup on Friday night but will be available off the bench, according to Anthony DiComo of MLB.com. Villar has been out for the past two games while dealing with hamstring tightness, but it appears that he will be able to avoid a stint on the IL for this. In the meantime, Brandon Drury will get the start again at third base and bat fifth against Blake Snell and the Padres.--Michael Grennell - RotoBaller
