3 years agoNew England Patriots tight end Jonnu Smith has yet to surpass 200 receiving yards on the season through the first eight contests of the year. The Patriots haven't been able to get much production from Smith and that's unlikely to change. They'll head into a Week 9 matchup against a tough Carolina Panthers defense. A team that ranks sixth in pass DVOA this season. Fellow tight end Hunter Henry has seen more of the red zone work and that's unlikely to change. Smith is a desperation option for Week 9, but should be on the waiver wire or bench in most formats.--Andy Webb - RotoBaller
