3 years agoColumbus Blue Jackets goaltender Joonas Korpisalo allowed six goals on 33 shots Saturday as the team in front of him fell apart defensively. Korpisalo got little support defensively as the Russian line from St. Louis played a role in five of the six goals. The one concern is that this sort of problem tends to happen more with Korpisalo in net for Columbus. This is the sixth game in a row where the backup goaltender has allowed three or more goals. The six allowed on Saturday night was a season high. The chances Korpisalo gets a start until the next back-to-back scenario is probably almost zero now. --Chris Wassel - RotoBaller
