3 years agoHouston Texans tight end Jordan Akins could see increased playing time in Week 9 against the Dolphins. Fellow tight end Pharaoh Brown (thigh) has been ruled out for the contest- meaning Akins could build upon the season-high 64 percent of the snaps and 53 yards he accumulated in last week's loss to the Rams. It's still a risky idea to trust any player not named Brandin Cooks in this offense- though the tight end position has proven to be a tricky one to fill once again. Akins could warrant start consideration against a Miami defense that has allowed the second-most yards to tight ends.--Tim Capurso
