Jordan Akins Will Miss Sunday’s Game
4 years agoHouston Texans tight end Jordan Akins (ankle/concussion) will not suit up Sunday against Tennessee, as he was not a part of the team’s traveling party. Akins will now be sidelined for the second consecutive week, paving the way for Darren Fells to remain the team’s primary tight end. Fells is a low-end TE streamer option in season-long and DFS formats for those fantasy managers that are banking on a resurgent Deshaun Watson against a Titans Defense that has had little rest since playing Tuesday. Akins has compiled 168 receiving yards through his first four games this season, so if he’s able to return next week against Green Bay, he may garner some intrigue. Check back for updates on his status throughout the week.
