3 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles running back Jordan Howard, elevated from the practice squad earlier in the week, scored two touchdowns in a Week 8 blowout win over the Detroit Lions. Howard ran the ball 12 times for 57 yards, scoring from four yards and two yards out. It was an easy win for the Eagles, who were firmly in control all game long. In a closer game or when playing from behind, Howard might not get the same dozen carries, especially with Boston Scott and Kenneth Gainwell also involved in the ground game. Still, Howard should have some fantasy value in deeper leagues as long as Miles Sanders (ankle) is out.--David A Marcillo - RotoBaller
