5 years agoPittsburgh Pirates starting pitcher Jordan Lyles (hamstring) played catch on Wednesday morning following Tuesday's early exit against the Reds. Lyles was removed from Tuesday's start after the fourth inning due to left hamstring discomfort. The 28-year-old has recorded a 5-2 record along with a 3.09 ERA and 56 strikeouts through 55 1/3 innings, making him a quality streaming option when healthy, but it is currently unknown if he will make his next scheduled start this weekend.--Denis Vondrus - RotoBaller
