Jordan Lyles Tosses Quality Outing Versus Oakland
3 years agoTexas Rangers starting pitcher Jordan Lyles wasn't missing too many bats, but was able to limit the damage versus the Oakland Athletics on Friday. He threw six innings, seven hits allowed, two earned runs, one walk, and three strikeouts in the win. It was a nice outing from Lyles who has struggled at times throughout the season. He'll take a 4.86 ERA, 1.44 WHIP and 76/30 K/BB ratio into the All-Star break. Lyles likely isn't worth rostering in 12-team formats, but could have value outside of that.
