6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes left wing Jordan Martinook (lower body) and right wing Andrei Svechnikov (concussion) were each able to return to the lineup for Game 3 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals against the New York Islanders. Martinook was scoreless with three shots on goal, a blocked shot and three hits in 12:02 of ice time across 19 shifts, while the rookie Svechnikov was back for the first time since his Game 3 fight against Washington's Alex Ovechkin. Svechnikov was also scoreless with two shots in 12:13 of ice time across 17 shifts. They'll look to get back onto the score sheet in Game 4 on Friday.--Daniel Dobish
