4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery pitched 4 2/3 innings, allowing three runs on four hits with a trio of walks and five strikeouts in Friday's no-decision. Montgomery labored through the first inning, allowing all three of his runs and needing 37 pitches to get out of the frame. The California native settled in after that, working 1-2-3 innings in two of his following three frames. After a strong opening start against the Orioles, Montgomery has scuffled a bit in the three outings since, though he'll get a chance to rebound against those same Orioles on April 28.--Tim Capurso
