4 years agoNew York Yankees starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery was fantastic against the Orioles on Monday, tossing six shutout innings with no walks and seven strikeouts. Montgomery leaned heavily on his changeup on Monday (34% usage rate) with great success, generating nine whiffs on 25 pitches. Montgomery obviously won't stay this hot all season, but his season debut was encouraging and should have fantasy managers considering him on waivers (45% rostered).--Sam Chinitz
