Jordan Montgomery Roughed Up Tuesday
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals starting pitcher Jordan Montgomery had a rare bad outing Tuesday, getting roughed up by the Milwaukee Brewers to the tune of six runs (four earned) on seven hits and a walk in five innings. He struck out six batters. This is only the second disappointing performance since coming over to the National League, as Montgomery has a 2.05 ERA in his eight starts after being traded from the New York Yankees. The loss drops his record to 8-4 for the season. Fantasy managers can still count on Montgomery as a solid floor option.
