Jordan Reed On Pace To Be Ready For Week 1
6 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed (toe) is on pace to be ready for the regular season opener on the road Sept. 9 against the Arizona Cardinals. The oft-injured tight end battled a nagging toe injury which hampered him all throughout the 2017 regular season, and the plan was for the team to ease him through training camp as a precaution. He has played a total of 52 regular season games out of a possible 80 over his first five NFL seasons, so make sure to have plenty of depth on hand if you draft(ed) the brittle tight end. When healthy, he has averaged 5.29 receptions for game while finding the end zone 22 times. He has TE1 ability, but his propensity for injury makes him a risky addition.
