7 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed (toes) is still behind the others in training camp after not being able to start running until a month before camp. He said he wants to see "more burst, quickness, speed." "I feel pretty good man. I feel good cutting on it. The only thing I have to work on is that bust... I've still got a lot of strengthening to do, explosive work to back to my full potential," Reed said. He's recovering from two toe surgeries but is expected to be ready for Week 1. Fantasy owners won't buy it until they see it, though, as Reed has never played a full season in five years and has played in only 18 games the last two seasons because of injuries. When healthy, he's a top-tier fantasy tight end. If you're drafting Reed as your starter, you better make sure you have a competent backup.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
