Jordan Reed With Modest Outing Against Packers
6 years agoWashington Redskins tight end Jordan Reed hauled in four catches for 65 yards in Sunday's win. Reed also led the team in targets with seven. From a fantasy standpoint, this wasn't the most lucrative outing for Reed, though he was serviceable at least in PPR formats. Then again, the Redskins didn't exactly air it out after taking a sizable lead early on. On just 20 pass attempts from Alex Smith, Reed's target share was still good for 35%. He now has 20 targets on the season, proving he is still one of the most preferred options in Washington's passing game. Volume hasn't been a concern for Reed early in the season, and he should see higher yardage totals and more touchdown opportunities as long as it keeps up.
