3 years agoToronto Blue Jays reliever Jordan Romano took the loss Saturday night against the Rays, allowing two runs (one earned) after entering the game with the game tied in the eighth. The right hander issued a pair of free passes to start the frame and he was only able to get one out before getting lifted after throwing just four of 13 pitches for strikes. You could chalk this outing up to shaking off some rust since Romano was activated from the IL before the game, but he was dealing with an elbow injury so it's something to monitor. Romano should still be in the mix for saves moving forward, however, making him a speculative add for desperate managers looking for saves.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
