4 years agoCarolina Hurricanes center Jordan Staal pushed his point streak to three games on Sunday with a two-point effort against Dallas. He had a power-play goal and short-handed assist in the game, which the Hurricanes won 4-3 in overtime. Brock McGinn scored the shorty and Nino Niederreiter found his way on the scoresheet as well. Staal now has four points through four games with 14 hits, eight shots, a plus-one rating, and two penalty minutes. He is looking to produce a bounce-back season after notching only 55 points across the last two campaigns, and the Hurricanes captain is certainly off to a great start.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
