6 years agoCarolina Hurricanes center Jordan Staal finished Wednesday's 5-2 win over Toronto with two assists, helping Justin Williams and Sebastian Aho to score. Staal got off to a red-hot start to the season, but he's found it difficult to produce offense for over a month now. He finished pointless in 12 of 14 games before finding his feet again in recent outings, producing three points in two games. Staal hasn't reached 50 points since 2011-12 and it looks like it won't happen this season either if his luck in front of goal doesn't change. His shooting percentage sits at 7.8 percent, which is a lot lower compared to his career average (11.6 percent).--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
