5 years agoMiami Marlins starting pitcher Jordan Yamamoto was impressive despite his team falling to the Atlanta Braves on a rainy Friday evening. The 23-year-old logged six innings, allowing just two hits while striking out seven and walking three. Though he wasn’t able to pick up a victory thanks to the lack of support on the offensive end, it was still an exceptional outing nonetheless. With the All-Star break on the horizon, Yamamoto is sporting a solid 1.24 ERA to go along with 30 strikeouts on the year.
