6 years agoDetroit Tigers starting pitcher Jordan Zimmermann (shoulder) made a rehab appearance Monday night at Single-A West Michigan, and it wasn't exactly smooth sailing. Zimmermann gave up three hits and a run in the first inning, and also botched a pickoff throw to second base that ended up in the outfield. While that run in the first ended up being the only one he allowed, he did scatter seven hits, none of which were cheap. He ended up throwing 89 pitches in five innings of work. He had two solid starts before the injury that sent him to the DL, but it looks like he's still a little clunky at the moment.--Tyler Germain - RotoBaller
