7 years agoDespite Detroit Tigers manager Ron Gardenhire's refusal to say whether or not starting pitcher Jordan Zimmermann is a lock for the Tigers rotation, all signs point to "yes" as the spring moves forward. Zimmermann pitched exceptionally well on Tuesday, firing five scoreless innings while allowing just two hits and striking out four. Zimmermann's health has been the main concern over the last two seasons in Detroit, but if he remains healthy through the season, there is potential for Zimmermann to return to pitching the way he did in Washington -- eating lots of innings with an effective but not electric approach. He could be a steal in the latest rounds of your draft.--Tyler Germain - RotoBaller
