3 years agoMinnesota Wild defenseman Jordie Benn will be drafted into the lineup on Sunday to replace Jared Spurgeon (lower body) in an away contest against Tampa. The Wild captain was injured early in Saturday's 5-4 loss to Florida. Calen Addison was called up from the AHL as a potential replacement, but head coach Dean Evason goes with the more experienced Benn instead. The 34-year-old will make only his second appearance of the season, and his first since Oct. 28 when he finished a 4-1 loss to Seattle with no points and a minus-one rating in 13:32 of ice time.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
