7 years agoIn his second game back after dealing with a jammed right pinky, Jordy Mercer had his best performance of the season in Friday's win over the Cincinnati Reds. The Pittsburgh Pirates shortstop was one of the many offensive contributors in the 14-3 win, picking up three hits on the night, including two doubles. He added a run and an RBI for good measure. Despite the big night, Mercer doesn't bring much to the table from a fantasy perspective and should only be rostered in deep NL-only leagues.--Matt Wilkes
