7 years agoFree-agent wide receiver Jordy Nelson is visiting with the Oakland Raiders, according to a source. Nelson was surprisingly cut by the Packers on Tuesday, but he's expected to land on his feet soon with a new team. Nelson had a disappointing season in 2017 with Green Bay, catching only 53 passes for 482 yards (career-low 9.1 yards per catch) and six touchdowns. The 33-year-old struggled mightily to separate from cornerbacks, but he remains a great red-zone option and would definitely improve Oakland's versatility on offense. If the Raiders add Nelson, though, that'd be bad news for veteran Michael Crabtree. If healthy, Nelson could be an intriguing sleeper at a reduced cost in 2018, depending on where he ends up.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
