2 years agoSan Diego Padres catcher Jorge Alfaro (knee) isn't starting Wednesday's game against the San Francisco Giants. He was removed from Monday's game due to a knee issue. The 29-year-old has now missed back-to-back games and is considered day-to-day. His next chance to return to the lineup will be Friday against the Washington Nationals. Austin Nola will handle catching duties and is batting ninth in Wednesday's contest. Nola has collected a hit in three of his last five games and can be used as a streamer while he's locked in the plate recently.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
