4 years agoMiami Marlins catcher Jorge Alfaro admitted to his teammates that he tested positive for COVID-19 in late-July in a video meeting. He was scratched and placed on the injured list before the team's Opening Day game on July 24, and now we have the official reason why. It's unclear when Alfaro will return, but for now, Francisco Cervelli and Chad Wallach will handle the duties behind the plate for the Marlins. Neither are fantasy options on what is looking like a depleted team, but it'll be relieving to see the team take the field for the first time in over a week on Tuesday versus the Orioles.--Riley Mrack - RotoBaller
