4 years agoFalling short in back-to-back title attempts, Jorge Masvidal (35-15) had a quick end to his night on Saturday, taking a huge right hand from defending champion Kamaru Usman in the second round. Through 8:58 of action, Masvidal actually out-struck Usman, landing 31 significant strikes (56 total strikes), but he was taken down on both of Usman's attempts. Turning 37 years old later this year, we have seen the end of Masvidal's fantasy relevance, as he has now lost his last two bouts, which were his only two bouts since November of 2019.--Matt Bricker - RotoBaller
