3 years agoBaltimore Orioles outfielder Jorge Mateo is slashing .229/.288/.271 with no home runs, three RBI, three runs scored, and league-leading six stolen bases over 14 games in 2022. He continues to be a threat on the base paths and has swiped three bags in back-to-back contests. However, the 26-year-old hasn't shown patience at the plate and hasn't drawn a walk over his last 36 plate appearances. Mateo might not have much fantasy value in points leagues, but his ability to rack up stolen bases gives him plenty of value in standard 5x5 formats. As long as Mateo is a fixture in Baltimore's everyday lineup, he has the upside to swipe 30 or more bags in 2022.--Brad Camara - RotoBaller
