6 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Jorge Polanco is eligible to end his 80-game suspension on June 12. He is expected to go on a 20-day rehab assignment upon being reinstated, which would mean July 2 is the earliest fantasy owners will see him in the big leagues. Polanco was slapped with an 80-game suspension in March after testing positive for performance-enhancing drugs. The team's starting shortstop in 2017, it remains to be seen what his role will be with the Twins when he returns. Fill-in shortstop Eduardo Escobar has hit well in his place and may not relinquish the starting role without a fight. Polanco broke out for a 13-homer, 13-steal season in 2017.--Matt T - RotoBaller
