3 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco (ankle) is dealing with some slight soreness in his right ankle. Manager Rocco Baldelli said he's not concerned about the injury, but he's hoping a few days off the field for Polanco will help. The 28-year-old will miss his second straight game on Wednesday against the Detroit Tigers, but fantasy managers should consider him day-to-day for now. The switch-hitter is batting just .232/.333/.364 this year with four home runs, 24 RBI, 18 runs scored and two stolen bases in 41 games and 177 plate appearances.
