Jorge Polanco Drives In One Run Thursday
6 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Jorge Polanco went 1-for-4 with an RBI double and a steal in his team's 5-1 win over the Tampa Bay Rays on Thursday. Polanco is now hitting .250 with a .658 OPS, three runs, four RBI, and two steals. The veteran has logged just 40 at-bats after spending most of the season on the suspended list due to violating MLB's drug policy. Polanco will serve as the Twins' primary shortstop going forward and has the ability to provide both power and speed for his fantasy owners. He remains widely available in leagues, so it would be worth checking to see if he's out there if you need help at shortstop. Polanco will take on Tampa right-hander Nathan Eovaldi for the first time of his career on Friday.
