3 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman/shortstop Jorge Polanco went 1-for-2 with a walk and a sacrifice fly in Tuesday's loss to the Cubs. Polanco extended his hitting streak to four games with a single in the bottom of the eighth inning, driving in a run with a sacrifice fly earlier in the year. The 28-year-old has been a steady presence for Minnesota this season, as he has slashed .274/.333/.492 with 24 homers, 78 RBI, 79 runs scored, and 10 stolen bases. The Twins lineup doesn't have the upside it had during his breakout 2019 season, but Polanco is putting up numbers to rival that season.--Tim Capurso
