Jorge Polanco Not Playing Against Royals
2 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco (knee) is not in the starting lineup on Wednesday against the Kansas City Royals. Polanco will miss his second straight game after injuring his knee during a slide in Monday's contest. With a scheduled day off on Thursday, the Twins and fantasy managers will be hoping that Polanco can return on Friday to face the Texas Rangers. Luis Arraez will play second base on Wednesday and hit third against Royals left-hander Daniel Lynch. Arraez is one of the best contact hitters around and is batting .336/.401/.444 with an .845 OPS, six home runs, 38 RBI, 64 runs scored and four stolen bases in 390 at-bats in 2022. However, he's not nearly as good against lefties (.256 average, one homer, six RBI).
