2 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman Jorge Polanco is not in the starting lineup against the Cleveland Guardians on Thursday. Polanco will get his first day of rest since returning from a back injury that landed him on the injured list. In two starts since his return, he's gone 2-for-9 with a home run and three RBI, and he's now hitting .244/.338/.396 with eight home runs, 36 RBI, 29 runs scored and three stolen bases in 260 plate appearances over 60 games. Luis Arraez is starting at the keystone on Thursday and is batting leadoff against Guardians right-hander Shane Bieber. It's a tough matchup and Arraez doesn't supply a ton of power (only four homers), but he makes a ton of contact and is hitting .337 on the year with a .418 on-base percentage in 246 at-bats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
