Jorge Polanco Reaches Base Four Times
5 years agoMinnesota Twins shortstop Jorge Polanco went 2-for-3 with two walks in a loss to the Yankees Friday night. Polanco had two RBI, scored a run, and stole a base in the strong performance. Polanco had a solid season batting .295 with 107 runs scored and has carried that momentum into the postseason. He'll face righty Masahiro Tanaka in Game 2 so Polanco will get to bat left-handed, his stronger side of the plate. This season Polanco batted .306 left-handed compared to .270 from the right side.
