3 years agoMinnesota Twins second baseman/shortstop Jorge Polanco belted his 16th homer of the year in Sunday's loss to the Cardinals. Polanco's blast traveled 389 feet at 100.8 MPH, putting the Twins within one run of the Cardinals in the sixth inning. The 28-year-old is having his best season since his breakout 2019 campaign, as he's produced a solid .272/.333/.464 slash line with 16 homers, 52 RBI, 61 runs scored, and nine stolen bases. Polanco is a strong contributor in both category and points leagues, given the variety of statistics he produces and his ability to avoid striking out.--Tim Capurso
